Sliding (as distinct from lifting) a patient is intrinsically safer and easier for a carer. Fabric tubes with a high slip inner surface facilitate the moving of patients in three basic ways without the need to lift i.e. turning a prone patient, sitting a patient up in bed, and moving a patient on or off a bed or trolley. Slide sheets are available in simple sheet or padded quilted formats to cover the widest range of situations. These Slide Sheets have a high degree of glide and slide in all directions. Four colour coded sizes are available with hanging loops for ease of storage.
