We’ve had the privilege of owning several rare and unique pipes, but this is without a doubt the nicest. We almost feel uncomfortable having it, as if it belongs in a museum somewhere. The carving on the face of the pipe says “der Kaiser” referencing the German Emperor. The bowl of the pipe is hallmarked three times, as shown in photos. The craftsmanship of the metal work is extraordinary. This pipe measures in at 6″ by 5.5″. The pipe once belonged to Ben Rapaport, one of the world’s foremost experts on antique meerschaum pipes.
